Show and Tell Monday

Show and Tell Monday

Today I thought I would share a picture of my parents house in Ohio. I have been so busy and have had no time for creating. My parents moved back to Ohio from St.Louis about 6 years ago. This is there dream. The land has been a part of my dads family for years. The street is even named after my great grandmothers last name 'BUNCE Road". As growing up, this is where we always came to visit. My grandmothers house is still on the land infront of my parents. It is sad to see that grandma does not live there anymore and it remains empty. The house is very old and is in need of great repairs. I think my parents are planning on having it torn down. The land is so peaceful and full of nature. There is a pond through the woods that my dad, brothers, and my grandfather dug by hand. I love to go fishing down there. I remember my grandma and her friend Perry showing how to prepare a fish for dinner. My kids love to go down there, the tradition has carried on.

I am so happy that my parents have built a beautiful home on such a wonderful land. I hope they enjoy it there as much as I love visiting.

Happy Monday!

Isn't it nice that land stays in the family and away from the developers! Thanks for sharing!

Looks like an incredile setting. I love that your children are fishing in the same pond you used as a child. I agree with Susan, so nice that family land is being held onto and not being developed.

Hi Stephanie,
There is nothing like family and you sound like you have a wonderful family and very close ties to them. The loss of your grandmother must have been difficult, but luckily, God gave us memories to keep them close to our hearts. Your parents home and yard is beautiful and welcoming. Best wishes to you!!
