I found this pretty vintage silver tray and decided to mosaic the tray. I have not done a piece in awhile. I used a very old hand painted plate that had broken accidentally. The plate was one of my favorites with the beautiful castle. I added old gold filigree china, & pink roses. This would be a lovely piece displayed in a home.

ok...officially jealous here. we had such a rainy weekend that we wouldn't have been able to flea market if we tried! but stephanie...some awesome finds there. love the vintage compacts. they are great. you did a fantastic job on the mosaic as well. i have always wanted to try that...looks fun. someday!!! i will have to put it on my vision board...

Love the tray! It's so pretty! Those compacts are just gorgeous too. I think I have one somewhere that was my great grandma's. Hmmm, I'll have to look for it.
